Power Undefined (2000)

-------- The origin of the geeky synth music project: MagiTek. After various excursions into homebrewed noise, we decided to use our newfound audio asssistance in late 99 and run with it in our own direction (one of no real training or genre in mind). Within a few months, by Spring of 2000, we had thrown together our first attempt at making a complete album. The content was mostly silly, and the sound quality/presentation sharply unbalanced. Still, there are a handful of moments on it which managed to catch the praise of some people, and even ourselves years later. Something like 20-30 tapes of these were thrown around each of our high schools (all dubbed from the original on a metal tape), and half of the copies were given to close friends. Some of this material is downright painful to listen to, both from the composition and....well, us. Still, we had to begin somewhere. --------
