Galactic Automatic (2002)
--------
After the small step that was Power Undefined, we proceeded to pump out various new tracks
and ideas until the summer of 2001. Soon after we started working intently on something we hoped would be worlds better
than our first little project. This one was would have more of a story or theme. It turned out to be a very loose concept album
about Quartz Relic, Thumgasta J, and space/time travel. Think "Flight of the Navigator" meets "Bill and Ted" meets "Doctor Who".
It was recorded in a crude half analog, half digital fashion over late 2001 - early 2002. The production
was better, but regrettably our vocals were still quite subpar. Combine that with the fact that we were burnt out from the
work involved, as well as an environment in which many could or would not listen. Rough around the edges, but there are
some pieces here we are proud of. We ended up with something pretty damn neat, but lost the urge to promote or share it
beyond those close to us. So we took a kind of break.
